Mountvest: Mount-rock

Mountvest is the imaginary country that I established! It has it’s own location on Earth, neighborhoods, schools, map, amusement park, airport, campgrounds, population and much, much, much, much more. Mountvest is around the size of Luxembourg, maybe larger. France and Belgium gave a bit of their own land for us. Therefore, Mountvest, France, Luxembourg and Belgium are besties!

Some history and facts about Mountvest:

• In 1672, 2 people formed a country called Mountvest with a city named Mount-joy (Mount-rock) city. Their names were Linda Hamilton and Steven Leacy. In 1680, a family of 5 came to Mountvest. They were Vietnamese. Mountvest started building castles, roads made of bricks and making friends with Europe in 1700’s. In 1750, the population raised to 2,000. In 1770, Mountvest expanded with: Mount-brooke city & Mount-blu city. In 1790 we had Mount-ice city & Mount-vision city. In 1800’s, we had space for Mount-blue (pronounced blue-y) city.
• Before, M-Blue city was the capital, then it changed to Mount-rock city. Originally, M-Ice city was named Mount-rock city and Mount-rock city was named Mount-joy city.
• The national language of Mountvest is English, other European languages and Vietnamese.

But today, I will not be talking about the entire Mountvest, I will be talking about a city in Mountvest named Mount-rock city!!!

Some random facts about Mount-rock:

• Mount-rock city is the biggest city in Mountvest
• Mount-rock city is the most populated city in Mountvest
• Mount-rock city is the capital

Mount-rock is the capital of Mountvest. Inside Mount-rock city we have the one and only, drum-roll pleaseeee, Comperlimper Amusement Park (CAP)! Comperlimper is named by Z, don’t ask the meaning behind the name because there isn’t one. It takes up 1/3 of Mount-rock’s area. If you want to go to CAP, don’t go on the weekends, take my word. You will not believe how many people come on the weekends.

We also have a emerald green pond next to our Government house. You are allowed to fish, swim, boat, canoe and skate when it’s winter. But please do not trash the river. It is an UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Mountvest has world-class education. Top universities, elementary schools, high schools and so on. The best universities and schools in Mountrock. Mount-rock University (MRU) has a separate locations in Mount-rock city. 1 campus is for Business, Economics and Politics. 1 is for English Language and Literature and Communication. The last campus is for Visual Arts, Theater Arts and Music.

In Mountvest, every city has a normal school (according to Mountvest, it is a normal school. But to others countries, it’s an elite school) and a advanced school. Every students will get accepted into the normal school without any fees. To join the advanced schools, you will have to sign up for the test by the end of the school year.

There are 2 normal schools and 2 advanced schools. For normal schools, you still have to pay fees for field trips and competition flights. But for the advanced schools, everything is free. From field trips to their uniforms.
