Lunar new year in Vietnam

lunar new year in Vietnam, people buy “Hoa Mai” “Hoa Đào” and My family bought this and at home we have more flowers. And here is the flowers.

l like to clean the the house ” it’s gonna be tired” but l like being tired.

My mom got my siblings and me gifts for Tet. And l got a new toy horse.

l named her Cupcake. She is brown and her birthday is on lunar new year.

She has so much to eat. lt’s not for her though. But she still eats it. she eats so much she’s bigger now. l think she’s getting big now.

At school my mom brought lunar new year cookies. The cookies are Hoa Mai hoa đào and lunar new year in Vietnamese. They look good!

Me and my friends make crafts at school. We made paper fans, dragons, and at last we got to eat the lunar new year cookies.

Rice cake: rice cakes are one of my favourite food for lunar new year. But when you look at the picture it’s not rice cake it’s just the paper that looks like rice cake.

Red envelope: older people give you the red envelope. Why is the envelope red? cause red is good luck.

Traditional dress: in Vietnam everyone mostly women wear their traditional dress. l also have one.
