On the Easter Long Holiday, S and my mom came up with an idea to cut some pieces of paper in a oval shape to paint as an Easter Egg! S, Z, my mom and I spent some time in the afternoon painting little pieces of paper with unique designs and ABSTRACT. I would give S the award for the prettiest egg design, I wish I had her artistic skills! I personally find her Cherry Blossom Tree the best design!
The next day, mom and dad went told us that they were going to hide some of the eggs in our garden. I haven’t ever done an actual Easter Egg hunt before, so I was really excited! I was pondering whether or not they were going to use real eggs or the paper eggs we had painted? My siblings and I waited inside the house, busying ourselves and had a great discussion about where mom and dad were going to hide the eggs.
At Last! My siblings and I were called outside to find the eggs. There are 9 eggs in total, meaning that there should be 3 for each person. Immediately, I went and briefly looked around the entire garden, trying to spot the obvious eggs. Within a matter of time, I found the first egg! Surie found one quickly afterwards (with the help and subtle hints from mom (; ).

Out of all 9 of the eggs, 3 of the eggs had been Hatchimals! There was a pink egg, a blue egg and a red egg. Mom had planned that I was suppose to get the blue egg, Z the red egg and S the pink egg, as they were our favorite colours! But we all ended up getting different ones from the ones planned. I got the red egg, S the blue egg and Z the pink egg. But really, it didn’t matter, because we all got common Hatchimals anyways ?.

In the end, I collected 4 eggs, S had 3 eggs and Z found 2 eggs. That would mean I won the Easter Egg Hunt, didn’t I? I searched the garden very carefully, with the very skillful and sharp eyes I possess (jkjkjkj I wear heavily prescripted glasses lol). I admit, I did skip some heavily obvious hiding places because I was busy trying to find as many eggs as possible. Oh well! (I do say, the real eggs were actually boiled, so they didn’t break. Boy were they delicious!)
Finally, there was one egg left, the last egg, and it took us forever to find it! It was a red coloured egg, on a plain green background, and it took us forever to find it! We were all busy looking at the roots of the trees, and completely forgot about the top of the trees! I thought, “If I had looked at the roots of the tress TWICE now and see no eggs, would that mean the eggs are not at the roots at all?” I found it immediately once I looked up from the tree and snatched it before Z or S saw it.

Take a look at the pictures to see where my parents hid the eggs! :))
