Do you like the Advent calendar? We like it but get bored with the chocolate ones that are sold everywhere. Yesterday I and my family decided to make a homemade – handmade Advent calendar for our own.
What you need:
- A big cardboard box ( reuse the Amazon boxes if you have) 📦
- 2 trays with dividers (squares)
- 24-25 candies, pieces of chocolate or any kind of sweets/ treats that you want 🍬🍭
- Tools: a multi-tool, a scissor, markers and a ruler and some tape.✂️
- find a big cardboard box and 2 trays with squares. And some other cardboard (pizza boxes)

- cut out equal cardboard pieces (not the box, use other cardboard) as dividers so we will enough 12 squares on each tray
- put the treats in each divided squares so when you open it, it has candy in it, if you don’t get candy that’s bad :((

- Put the tray on the outside of big cardboard box. Trace all the equal squares so we know where the doors should be.

- cut out the lines that you traced to make the doors. Remember, one side of the square should not be cut.
- use your red and green markers, write down the dates of December till Christmas (1-24/25)

Now were finish. Don’t forget to tape the box so you can’t see inside and the candy won’t fall out.
Open your Advent calendar on Dec. 1!
