This review is going to be about the 2nd book: ⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️

If you have read my first book review (and if you haven’t, go read it now!), you would know Best Friends is the second book about friends by Shannon Hale. Since I read the first book, my classmates recommend me to get the second book. And that suggestion was fulfilled at the book fair at my school. Without hesitation, I bought the graphic novel from the fair (so there goes my money :D)
About the book:

Everything starts changing by 6th Grade. She is sure she has a nice spot in ‘The Group’. However, there are unspoken rules about nearly everything, like what songs to listen to; what TV shows to watch or who she can talk to. If you want to stay in the group, you have to follow the rules (You know how it works right?). She has a hard time trying to keep up with the trends. Will she finally fit in?
Review:
A big reasons why I like this graphic novel is that everyone is closer to my age, so I feel more related. Another reason why is because the problems are truly realistic. Aside from friendship problems, Shannon has some of her own personal problems. She tried her best trying to answer her own questions as a teenager. Have you dealt with friendship, anxiety or OCD problems?
Once again, LeUyen Pham does an amazing job for illustrations. How she drew Shannon’s imagination and stories are really colorful and lively.
The drama in this book is obviously suitable for teens. Especially for ones who feel like an outcast. Everyone feels alone sometimes, even the most popular people do too!
You can find the book on Amazon, Indigo, Google Play Books and local bookstores. It cost around $20 CAD for paperback and $30 CAD for hardcover on Amazon. Again, I don’t think this book is translated.
