It was my first time riding bareback, at school I have Horsemanship, and I got to ride bareback with Sprite “my favourite pony”. it was so fun riding with no reins no saddle no pads nothing except the pony. When you ride bareback you can feel the horses muscles moving.
JUST if you don’t know what bareback is ” if you do skip this sentences” bareback is riding on a horseback with no saddles.
So do you want to try riding bareback?. It’s only my first time riding bareback but I like it, you should try it…Oh! and don’t DISMOUNT (getting off a horse) on a mountain block, you might fall if you miss it :(( … so HOW do you like bareback?
NOW! we are moving on to where and how do we sit while riding bareback. Good question!, you normally sit around the withers and your feet or knee at the shoulder, NOT the belly! or behind, because if you sit behind you might get a buck :((. if you sit at the belly that’s too far.
Now! you know where to sit :)). And did you know that dressage horses came from war horses. And! did you know the horse OLD BILLY was 60 years!. That is the horse older then it should be. Did you know horses can’t breath trough their mouth. And also did you know that palomino when they give birth to a baby it is 50% the same color. Did you know one of the oldest horse breeds in the world is Arabian. These are facts about horses.
