Miniature World is a really popular tourist attraction in Victoria, BC. When I took a trip to Victoria, I went to visit this and I definitely don’t regret it one single bit! (Despite the fact that the there was some wait time)
There are lots of themes and topics for the displays made in Miniature World. Some of the ones I remember were: Circus World, War and Battle, Space, Fantasy/Fairy Tales, Camelot, The Trans Canada Railway, Victorian era themed, The Classic Car Rally, and Dollhouses! Not only are the displays and exhibits extreme detailed and made to look realistic, on most booths are buttons in which you can press and interact with the display. For example: In the Car Rally, a button can move a car, open a door, turn on a TV and much more! Which is really fun and entertaining because the audience gets to interact with the display, which makes it turn into life!

My personal favourite (if you haven’t read my previous post) is the Old European and Victorian Era inspired exhibits. The one where they recreated Olde London Town definitely became one of my favourites! Everything look really realistic, and so much detail was made (including dust and dirt on roads!). One thing I would have liked in the exhibit is interactions. Perhaps moving a horse? Or walking people? But nonetheless, I absolutely loved the display!

When looking at the displays, S would usually be too short to fully see the overview of the exhibits (even when standing on the steps) so we would have to carry her. All the time! When we were at the Dollhouse displays, there were some Victorian houses and I would be in awe, standing for ages! Z would roll his eyes walk away.

In the Space displays, the light was replaced by UV light. This made S scared, as is wasn’t bright (and we all know how scary a kids imagination of monsters can be).
